Electromist Privacy & Refund/Returns Policy

SECTION 4 – SHOPIFY & PAYMENT

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform. Your data is stored on secure servers behind a firewall.

Payments:
If you use a direct payment gateway, Shopify securely stores and encrypts your credit card information in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. Transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete the purchase and is then deleted.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Some third-party providers, such as payment processors, may collect information necessary to perform their services. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies.

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party site, this Privacy Statement no longer applies.

Credit card information is encrypted using SSL and AES-256 standards. While no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, we comply with PCI-DSS and accepted industry standards.

  • _shopify_visit: tracks visits for 30 minutes.

  • _shopify_uniq: counts store visits by a single customer.

  • cart: stores cart contents for 2 weeks.

SECTION 8 – AGE OF CONSENT

By using this site, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or have obtained consent from a parent/guardian for minor dependents.


SECTION 9 – RETURNS & REFUNDS

9.1 Returns

  • Valid for 30 calendar days from the date of purchase.

  • Items must be unused, in their original condition, and packaged in their original packaging.

  • Certain products are non-returnable, including E-Liquids, CBD products, and coils.

  • Proof of purchase is required.

  • Do not return items directly to the manufacturer.

  • Parcels marked “Return to Sender” and received by Electromist will automatically be refunded.

9.2 Refunds

  • Once a returned item is received and inspected, approval or rejection of a refund will be communicated via email.

  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period.

  • If a refund has not been received, first check your bank account, then contact your credit card provider and bank.

9.3 Sale Items

  • Only regular-priced items are refundable.

  • Discounted or promotional items are non-refundable.

9.4 Exchanges

  • Offered for defective or damaged items, or unused E-Liquid flavours customers do not like.

  • Customers are responsible for all exchange-related costs, including return shipping, creating a shipping label, and postage for the exchanged item.

SECTION 10 – SHIPPING INFORMATION

  • Royal Mail Second Class (Free Shipping): Estimated 3–7 working days

  • Royal Mail First Class: Estimated 1–2 working days

  • Orders are usually processed within 1–2 working days.

  • Orders placed before 2:30 pm may be dispatched on the same day.

  • Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors beyond our control.

  • If an order has not arrived within 10 working days, we follow Royal Mail’s lost or delayed item policy: Royal Mail Lost or Delayed Items

  • For items valued over £75, customers should consider using trackable shipping or insurance.


SECTION 11 – CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Material changes will be highlighted for your awareness.
